Alive and Well

As I’m sure you gathered from my review posting today, I am actually still alive. Surgery went well, hand is fully functional (awhile before we’ll know for certain if it was worth it), and has been for awhile.

The reason for my spotty presence (if not nearly total absence)? It’s summer break for my three six year olds, my mother came to visit for a week, and I started a vegetable garden in my backyard that I am totally obsessed with: in other words, I haven’t had much time for reading and blogging.

But, the kids and I are getting into a summer rhythm, I’m not expecting anymore visitors, and other than another two rounds of planting, my vegetable garden doesn’t require as much time now as it did initially. So, barring any unexpected complications, I’m back. Part-time perhaps, but back nonetheless. And I have to say, it feels good to be reading and writing again. 😀

Glad you are doing well. Three 6 year olds? That is enough to keep anyone busy.
